OUR TEAM

In our work together, we will deepen our relationship to our emotions, to our bodies, intuition and ultimately, our Self. We won’t just talk; we will utilize experiential practices that heal our nervous system to create more rapid and deeper change on a cellular level. My work with clients focuses on healing the root, rather than just managing symptoms.
In individual therapy we may incorporate EMDR, Internal Family Systems, meditation, breathwork, sound therapy, somatic experiencing, Reiki, yogic and shamanic technology, and CBT. My practice integrates cutting-edge western science around the autonomic nervous system and research-backed models of therapy such as IFS, DBT, and CBT with eastern philosophy, meditation, and mindfulness.I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, substance use and addiction, behavioral issues, trauma, parent coaching, and existential needs around finding greater meaning and purpose. I find my own spiritual and indigenous practices to only aid in my ability to support your journey.
Many of my clients appreciate the work of Ram Dass, Joe Dispenza, Dr. Gabor Maté and other modern spiritual thought leaders. I am particularly passionate about supporting clients who are preparing or integrating ceremonial plant medicine experiences, including ayahuasca, and consider myself a knowledgeable yet humble resource for these modalities of healing.

I believe that each person has the innate ability to create the change they want to see in themselves. I am here to help you identify new tools through bringing awareness to the skills you already have as you continue to grow and develop.
Together, we will identify emotions, thoughts, and behaviors as well as your strengths to move towards personal growth, self-love, and empowerment. The time we have together is yours. I will listen to you with compassion, empathy, and non-judgement. I invite you to be fully you and I look forward to working together!

My professional interests include social justice and psychotherapeutic practices in childhood trauma. I have worked with low-income adults in medical and housing case management, and as a home-based intensive therapist with teens. In addition to my private practice work, I currently assist public schools in providing mental health and related services for students, their families, and district staff of all levels. In my personal time I enjoy reading fiction, taking weekend hikes with loved ones, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
It would be my pleasure to meet you and warmly guide your evolution through the very normal stages of being human. Whether we will be outsmarting unhelpful thoughts, holding emotions without drowning in them, or practicing real-world interactions together, please contact me today to take the next step on your life’s journey.

My professional background includes working with individuals who have experienced substance use and addiction, childhood trauma, and those who simply want to build a greater sense of self-love. During our sessions, I will bring my most authentic self in order to get to know the most genuine version of you so that we might reauthor your story to one of greater confidence and resilience.
In my personal time I enjoy reading, being outdoors (especially in the winter!) and cooking foods from all over the world. I would be honored to work with you in healing whatever interpersonal dynamics or unhelpful thoughts or behaviors are in the way of you feeling like the genuine you. I’m looking forward to meeting you!

I specialize in working with teens and adults who are looking to gain a greater self of self-awareness through a holistic, collaborative lens. Whether it be generalized anxiety, trauma/PTSD, or other emotional needs which impact us personally and relationally, know that we will hold space for all of it together, completely nonjudgmentally. I am also passionate about supporting women’s issues and those who may be part of the LGBTQ+ community, including folks who are exploring gender or other areas of identity.
The foundation of my practice is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices while also incorporating aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
In this integrative approach, the aim is not merely temporary symptom relief, but a harmonious balance that empowers you to thrive in every dimension of your life by getting to the root of challenges for true, lasting healing.
You are the true architect of your well-being. As we collaborate in this therapeutic relationship, know that my role is not to heal you as much as it is to guide you in discovering your own inherent capacity for healing and growth. If you are ready to unlock that innate ability, I am honored to walk this path with you.

As a clinician trained in Psychodynamic Therapy, I value the therapeutic relationship as a cornerstone of our work. My daily yoga practice supports me in cultivating presence and acceptance, allowing us to approach emotions with curiosity rather than judgment. Inspired by Rumi’s poem “The Guest House,” I welcome all feelings and sensations as honored visitors in our sessions.
I bring a somatic and integrative approach to therapy, combining Somatic Internal Family Systems (IFS) with mindfulness-based practices, breathwork, body awareness, and experiential exploration. This allows clients to not only understand their patterns but also to release stored tension, increase self-compassion, and reconnect with a felt sense of safety in the body. Alongside somatic work, I draw from Existential Therapy, shadow work, and Jungian psychology to help clients access their deeper potential for healing and growth.
If you’re seeking therapy in Montclair, NJ—whether in-person or virtually—I offer a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where you can feel supported, understood, and empowered to heal.

Hello! I am Dr. Anila Reddy, a physician and licensed psychotherapist who works with both individual clients as well as couples. I am from the beautiful country of India where I completed my medical training, and am fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu. My approach is a holistic one, a blending of Eastern and Western philosophies, and based on practical application of tools and strategies. Many of my clients appreciate a “mind-body-spirit” perspective when navigating current challenges, and recognize that true transformation and lasting change involves more than just dealing with a frantic mind. This is where my clinical background as a medical doctor comes in; it allows me to also holistically consider biological, psychological, and social factors in your journey.
My experience includes working with teens and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds; from students navigating the pressures of academics, to professionals overwhelmed by their workloads and parents juggling multiple roles while balancing family life. I apply holistic and spiritual principles in combination with CBT, ACT, and other impactful therapeutic modalities customized to fit your unique needs. Whether you are battling anxiety or OCD, depression, relationship challenges, LGBTQ+ related needs, substance use, or simply feeling stuck and stagnant hoping for more clarity and peace in your life, know that I am here to support you 100%. Together, we will navigate your journey as I act as your guide through life’s twists and turns.
I believe that everyone is on a quest for something; a quest for joy, happiness, and fulfillment. Sometimes it can feel like a roller coaster ride, getting messy and leaving you wandering through a maze of self-doubt and confusion. One minute you’re on top of the world, and the next, you’re wondering how you ended up here. Together, we will find the way out and uncover the truest version of you who you know is in there, but has somehow gotten tangled up and turned around by societal expectations, the opinions of others, and that inner critic we all have.
Ready to dive in? Let’s make this trip unforgettable!

Trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I offer a holistic, individualized approach, grounding my work in evidence-based practices such as somatic therapy, internal family systems (IFS), hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques including yoga and meditation. I also offer the healing modality of "inner child work" to help address the roots of emotional wounds, along with subconscious reprogramming techniques and autonomic nervous system regulation.
My experience includes supporting adults and teens who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, codependency, disordered eating, abandonment wounds, relationship challenges, spiritual exploration, and more.

I deeply believe that healing begins with understanding that you are more than the pain, trauma, and challenges you have experienced. Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken; it’s about remembering the wholeness that already exists within you beneath the layers of protection and pain.
