OUR TEAM

Erica Tait
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Erica Tait, LCSW, LCADC

A profound near-death experience sparked my search for meaning and purpose in life, and has inspired me to guide others on their own journey toward healing and transformation. I specialize in working with couples and the highly-sensitive person–those who feel everything strongly, but may be unsure of how to manage those emotions. Anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, and relationship issues are just some of what we can experience when we are out of alignment with our True Self. We may turn to all sorts of distractions, unhealthy relationships or addictions, to cope with what is fundamentally a feeling of discomfort within our own skin.

In our work together, we will deepen our relationship to our emotions, to our bodies, our intuition and ultimately, our Self. We won’t just talk; we will utilize experiential practices that heal our nervous system and create more rapid and deeper change on a cellular level. My work with clients focuses on healing the roots, rather than just managing symptoms.

In individual therapy as well as couples/marriage counseling sessions, I may incorporate EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), meditation, breathwork, sound therapy, somatic experiencing, Reiki, yogic and shamanic technology, in addition to traditional talk therapy such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). We will move toward healing the wounds of the past in order to gain the confidence and skills needed for you to thrive in the present as an individual or a couple.

Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work
Extensive Training in EMDR and Trauma Therapies
Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher
Certified Reiki Master
Certified Yoga 12-Step Recovery Leader
Extensive Training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Buddhist Meditation Practice and Shamanic Healing
Internal Family Systems Training
Training in Somatic Awareness Practices

Are you a teen or young adult who struggles with emotions such as anger, anxiety, or depression? Do you experience challenges around substance use, or find it difficult to navigate relationship or behavioral challenges? Are family-related complexities, addiction, or unaddressed past trauma making life feel unbearable? Do you seem “fine” on the surface but something still tells you that you would benefit from gaining a greater sense of insight and self-awareness? Do people in your life describe you as “out of control” at times, while missing the fact that you are truly doing your best underneath it all? If these concerns hit home for you, know that I am fully equipped to meet you exactly where you are. I understand that you’ve been doing the very best you can up until this point. I can vividly recall the very human “stuckness” I felt during that period of my own life, and how working with my therapist during the time made all the difference. In fact, that experience is precisely what inspired me to become a therapist who specializes in supporting teens, young adults, and their families as I do today.
I have over a decade of experience working in both clinical mental health and educational settings, including New Jersey’s largest residential co-occurring mental health and substance abuse treatment center for young people. I pride myself on being able to build rapport and trust with even the most guarded, behaviorally challenged teens and young adults; trust that is essential in order to enact real change. My additional years of experience supporting clinical needs in schools as a high school based counselor and district-level mental health coordinator also provide a unique perspective in navigating school-related challenges which may be related to your current needs.

Whether you struggle with emotional, behavioral, or substance-related needs, or if you might simply benefit from having a strong, motivating coach in your “corner” to navigate your next steps during these challenging years, I encourage you to take the first step by contacting me today. I look so forward to working with you!

Connor Wills M.Ed, LPC, NCC is a licensed holistic psychotherapist, professional speaker, and K-12 consultant for school-based mental health services who has been working in the field of mental health, wellness, and education for almost 15 years. Connor has supported residential co-occurring mental health and addiction programs, inpatient acute psychiatric hospital settings, middle and high schools, and has worked directly in communities up and down the east coast. Connor is currently a graduate professor of psychology and counseling at a New Jersey-based university and is the co-founder of Quantum Psychotherapy Group along with his partner in life and business, Erica. In his free time, Connor enjoys hiking, seeing live music, competitive paintballing, playing and collecting Magic: The Gathering trading cards, and deepening his connection with the mysteries of consciousness and our universe.

Therapy can feel intimidating as a teen or young adult, but it can certainly feel more inviting when you know what to expect. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and client-led, meaning that I maintain my focus on your thought processes, emotions, and relationships while allowing you the freedom to drive the session focus. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other solution-focused techniques to encourage you to explore broader perspectives and new ways to deal with challenges. We will collaboratively create treatment plan goals that feel attainable to you and will highlight your strengths and progress along the way through traditional talk therapy, mindfulness, or art-based expression.

My professional interests include social justice and psychotherapeutic practices in childhood trauma. I have worked with low-income adults in medical and housing case management, and as a home-based intensive therapist with teens. In addition to my private practice work, I currently assist public schools in providing mental health and related services for students, their families, and district staff of all levels. In my personal time I enjoy reading fiction, taking weekend hikes with loved ones, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

It would be my pleasure to meet you and warmly guide your evolution through the very normal stages of being human. Whether we will be outsmarting unhelpful thoughts, holding emotions without drowning in them, or practicing real-world interactions together, please contact me today to take the next step on your life’s journey.

As your therapist, I create a nurturing, welcoming, and compassionate environment where you can deeply explore all facets of your identity. I encourage you to come from a place of curiosity rather than judgment when exploring different parts of you to enhance a greater sense of your truest self.

I specialize in working with teens and adults who are looking to gain a greater self of self-awareness through a holistic, collaborative lens. Whether it be generalized anxiety, trauma/PTSD, or other emotional needs which impact us personally and relationally, know that we will hold space for all of it together, completely nonjudgmentally. Have you ever felt like your mind is a tangled mess of thoughts, emotions, and "what ifs" as if you're trapped in a maze with no exit in sight? If so, you are not crazy, you are not alone, and you are not a disaster. The truth is you’re perfectly and imperfectly human–and that’s more than enough.Together, we’ll untangle that mess of unruly, hyperactive, overbearing thoughts; the ones that never seem to shut up. Together, we will explore your experience and equip you with powerful tools designed for navigating through this maze called “life.”

Hello! I am Dr. Anila Reddy, a physician and licensed psychotherapist who works with both individual clients as well as couples. I am from the beautiful country of India where I completed my medical training, and am fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu. My approach is a holistic one, a blending of Eastern and Western philosophies, and based on practical application of tools and strategies. Many of my clients appreciate a “mind-body-spirit” perspective when navigating current challenges, and recognize that true transformation and lasting change involves more than just dealing with a frantic mind. This is where my clinical background as a medical doctor comes in; it allows me to also holistically consider biological, psychological, and social factors in your journey.

My experience includes working with teens and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds; from students navigating the pressures of academics, to professionals overwhelmed by their workloads and parents juggling multiple roles while balancing family life. I apply holistic and spiritual principles in combination with CBT, ACT, and other impactful therapeutic modalities customized to fit your unique needs. Whether you are battling anxiety or OCD, depression, relationship challenges, LGBTQ+ related needs, substance use, or simply feeling stuck and stagnant hoping for more clarity and peace in your life, know that I am here to support you 100%. Together, we will navigate your journey as I act as your guide through life’s twists and turns.

I believe that everyone is on a quest for something; a quest for joy, happiness, and fulfillment. Sometimes it can feel like a roller coaster ride, getting messy and leaving you wandering through a maze of self-doubt and confusion. One minute you’re on top of the world, and the next, you’re wondering how you ended up here. Together, we will find the way out and uncover the truest version of you who you know is in there, but has somehow gotten tangled up and turned around by societal expectations, the opinions of others, and that inner critic we all have.

Ready to dive in? Let’s make this trip unforgettable!

I view therapy as an empowering journey into your own personal narrative, where we explore the rich layers of your inner world. My passion lies in working with adolescents, teens, and adults. Together, we will embark on a path of self-discovery, growth, and healing, where I will guide you through both the exciting and sometimes daunting aspects of this transformational process.

As a clinician trained in Psychodynamic Therapy, I place great emphasis on the therapeutic relationship as a cornerstone of our work together. My daily yoga practice helps me cultivate a space of presence and acceptance, allowing us to approach emotions and experiences from a place of curiosity, rather than judgment. Just as in Rumi’s poem "The Guest House," all feelings and thoughts are welcomed as honored visitors in our sessions.

Utilizing a holistic approach together, we can integrate a variety of tools and techniques that resonate with you, such as yoga, tarot (archetypal therapy), and other systems you may find meaningful. My therapeutic foundation is humanistic and person-centered, drawing on mindfulness-based practices and an eclectic blend of modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential Therapy (ET), and shadow work. Grounded in the teachings of Carl Jung, I believe in accessing the unseen aspects of the self, both individual and collective, through these methods. For male-identified folks I work with, I often employ a framework that is loosely based on Joseph Campbell’s “Hero’s Journey”, Robert Bly’s “Iron John”, and Robert Moore’s “King, Warrior, Magician, Lover: Rediscovering the Archetypes of the Mature Masculine”.

In addition to my private practice work, I support college students at a university counseling center in New York City where I completed both my graduate field work and post-graduate fellowship. When I’m not in session, I enjoy exploring the outdoors through hiking, reading graphic novels, and traveling.

Certain life experiences can impact us in such a way that may lead us to feel “shaken to the core.” Trauma has a transformative ability to reshape the way our nervous systems respond to everyday stressors in more heightened and even somatic ways. As a result, many of us struggle with feeling safe and can fall into unhelpful patterns.

My calling into the field was inspired by my own lived experiences as a multicultural and bilingual individual growing up between two continents. I practice from a culturally and trauma-informed lens and focus on creating a warm, non-judgmental and safe therapeutic environment. I specialize in the treatment of teens and young adults who struggle with anxiety or have experienced trauma, as well as women’s issues, relational difficulties, life transitions, substance use and addiction recovery, and other personal life challenges.

Through the use of mindfulness-based interventions and breathwork, we can work together to help you feel more safe within yourself and to help calm and regulate your nervous system. In our work together, we will identify patterns of behavior that may be contributing to repeated negative experiences in different areas of your life. As a holistic therapist, I integrate many elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) , and other body and breath-based interventions.

Through the therapeutic process, I believe that everyone is able to move towards healing. I look forward to helping you through this journey!
